Portion MishPahTeem - laws for What and for Whom

Portion MishPahTeem - laws for What and for Whom

Not everyone in Israel likes the government and

Not everyone in Israel is dedicated to the Laws and the Land and the People of Israel

The Portion states "do not curse the President" (Nasi) –

That Mitzvah probably relates more to the Israeli Prime Minister (probably the human being most pressured on Earth – and for years )–

(With the whole world attacking or second guessing him).

 So now

Meet 2 friends,  Shachar and Boris

Before heading into Gaza to fight Hamas, they promised each other

when this war is over, we will climb Mount Kilimanjaro together

Sadly

Shachar was gravely injured when a Hamas grenade exploded beside him.

Days later, Boris was critically wounded in a terror tunnel explosion-that took the lives of four of his brothers-in-arms.

Most people would have given up. But

This past week, despite their injuries and Boris' disability

They stood on the peak of Mount Kilimanjaro

carrying a flag bearing the faces of the four soldiers who never made it home.

Shachar said: "We want to show everyone struggling-physically, mentally-to believe in themselves. Get .up. Leave your home. See what you are capable of...

This is the SPIRIT OF ISRAEL

which comes from 3000 years of JEWISH LAW!

These 2 were not broken

Instead, they climbed. For themselves. For their fallen brothers.

For the unbreakable spirit of ALL Am Yisrael

May G-d bless them with long, healthy, and meaningful lives!! (mybeautifullandofisrael)

And the Purpose in the Portion is

So " teach the children well"...."

(Crosby Stills song ©...)

You who are on the road

Must have a code you try to live by

And so become yourself

Because the past is just a goodbye

Teach your children well

Their father's hell did slowly go by

Feed them on your dreams

The one they pick's the one you'll know by

Don't you ever ask them why

If they told you, you would cry

So just look at them and sigh

And know they love you

And you, of tender years

Can't know the fears your elders grew by

Help them with your youth…

And Now

Look up the Jewish ansŵer (coming maybe a little late)

"Bridging Generations: Inkredible Kids Video Introduces Grade Schoolers to Holocaust Survivors"

Four Holocaust survivors are telling their stories in an impactful video that is aimed at a demographic that typically knows little about the atrocities of World War II – children. Their Stories, Our Legacy: Holocaust Survivors Talk to Kids is produced by Tziri Preis, better known to thousands of fans of the InKredible Kids podcast […]

And NOW a question from the portion :

Why did the Almighty tell Moshe to go up to the mountain with Aron and Aron's 2 older children (who later would " leave the world " when the Desert Temple was dedicated)

And NOT with the 2 YOUNGER sons – who would

Lead the People along with Moshe and their father Aron for 40 years in the desert?

Commentators always theorize about why those older sons  later would leave the world the day the  Desert Temple was dedicated –

But that doesn't answer my question.

Maybe it was to give the older boys a chance to relate to SINAI with their Father – if not to the Desert Temple?

It says in the Portion about punishments if one

curses the Almighty /// or a parent …/// also discussed in this week's Talmud teachings...

so at Sinai there were teachings

above and beyond Crosby and Stills
