Portion teTzaVeh - New Orders, New Leadership? Can it Fly?

Portion teTzaVeh - New Orders, New Leadership? Can it Fly?

From CHALONEI ROKEA - Dr Moshe's Synagogue

Deep Torah (in NJ and Jerusalem)- this is the AE interpretation

Are women are obligated this Shabbat to hear the Torah Reading sectio "Parshas Zachor".

(The Torah commandment to Remember (wicked) Amalek)

The Chinuch (an anonymous work written in thirteenth-century Spain that clearly details the 613 commandments)

wrote " this remembering  is tied to the wiping out of evil. Since women don’t go to war they are also not obligated to hear the reading in the Torah.

Another commentator wrote  "are women just supposed to do their nails and shop?" Of course they are helping with fighting the war by cooking, supplying what’s needed and giving moral support!

In Israel's wars since before 1948 women are also in battle.

Other Rabbis write that in a a war for survival even a bride in her first year must go to war!

We have seen in our present situation that women and men are totally absorbed in the war effort and this is proof positive that all are required to hear, remember, wipe out evil wherever it is confronted.

It is said that the saintly Chasam Sofer 1762-1839 killed a hater of Israel because he felt he was from Amalek..

, This week the new Chief of Staff of the IDF was sworn in. We all hope for success in this war
AND.

The outgoing Chief of Staff (Halevi) in his address stated that his Wife since the start of the war visits families of the
kidnapped and families of wounded or killed soldiers..

And not only Jewish leaders have spoken:

Rawan Osman, a Lebanese-born former Hezbollah member who renounced the terror group and became a staunch advocate for Israel, gave a powerful and impactful speech at the United Nations on Monday, shattering the false narratives pushed by UN officials and some of the world’s most oppressive regimes. “My name is Rawan Osman..." and she wrote

Dear Gazans, This could be the beginning of a better future or the end of a devastating episode for all of us in the Middle East. We want the best for our children, and we hope you will make the right choice for yours instead of clinging to a tale, to a nightmare. Release the hostages, return the dead bodies, denounce Hamas, get out of the Gaza strip and let those who committed atrocities face what they deserve."

Reb Elimelech of Lizensk wrote on this Portion (Tetzaveh) – "King David wrote …"your wonders oh Almighty are transferred to us…" – so Reb Eli asks "HOW"?

And he answers – "The Almighty created everything – but all things are connected still to the Almighty. In this Portion Moses is empowered and told to give strength to the people to CARRY ON THE GOOD DEEDS (MITZVOTE) OF CREATION – OF THE ALMIGHTY."

OUR WAR OF SURVVAL IS A COMMANDMENT which we ALL need to participate in!

And from Reb Shlomo Carlebach on Parsha (portion) Tetzaveh  (Include Me Out?)

Parshas Tetzaveh, is the one Portion where Moshe Rabainu’s ( Moses) name is omitted from the Torah during his lifetime!... (It is also)

an eternal tribute to Moshe Rabainu… to Moshe Rabainu’s greatness (after the Golden Calf),

See here my beautiful friends, Moshe Rabainu came down and brought us the Ten Commandments.

When he came down it says that ..., gevalt was he shining like the sun.

So here I want you to know something. What did Moshe Rabainu hear in heaven which he really didn't give over to us just yet?...

So when did Moshe Rabainu give over to us this inside, the real meaning of everything?

After the golden calf, G-d says "I'm going to wipe out the Yidden -I'll wipe out the Yidden, and you will be the only one alive." So Moshe Rabainu says "If you wipe out all the Yidden, 'Mecheini Na', then wipe me out from your book!" The way it's translated is "Take me out from your Torah." But here all the Rebbe’s say the same thing….

" So everybody knows that Moshe Rabainu had a (spark), a little part of Noach in him.

what was the problem with brother Noach? When G-d told Noach he would destroy his generation, Noach didn't pray for his generation.

Here comes the tikkun (the spiritual repair); Moshe Rabainu says if you wipe out your people, then wipe me out of your Torah …

" Wipe me out because I'm not going to let another mabul (flood) come and destroy the world. I’m not interested in starting a new world like you did with Noach"

. Moshe Rabainu learned to love the world: Mamash can we learn from Moshe Rabainu how to love.

Good Shabbos

(Rabbi Shlomo)

So we ALL need to wipe out evil … and the Almighty is still empowering us ALL
to make an end of the murderous Amaleks and the evil of Hamas etc

And we can survive this. And still love the world

I bless you all with a holy and beautiful Shabbat
