Nothing really is a make up for anything we do wrong

 

but

 

  the Torah taught the world about

 

forgiveness

  

  And how

  we need to sacrifice some times  ...  just so we can feel how

 

We affect the world

 

And each other!

 

The idea of a temple ...  Which  we saw in last weeks portion

 

Is to elevate us spirritually  

 

But if we " fall  " ...

 

then a little

 

extra giving of ourselves can    Fix things

 

so we learn:

 

Giving makes for forgiving ... in the Big Picture
