Portion Key Tay Tzay (going to war) - and those Damned Hooties attacking again
War for the world is like Putin like North Korea.
But for the Torah -look!
War and Women and Wounded Kids - all that in the FIRST of the 7 Aliyas !
Then later : Divorce and. ... AMALEK the attacker!
Pretty heavy stuff.
But from my friend Dr Moshe who writes
Parshas Ki Teitzei LaMilchama. When
You Go to War
Life is a battle and our mission is to extract the
"Beauty of the womanliness"
(Aishes) Y’fas To’ar
(a woman who who explains the beauty of all. AE)
that Hashem implants along the way.
Recognize it, elevate it
Thank you:

Rav Kook the first chief Rabbi of Israel wrote
During WW I
"
We don't know what will happen - even
Wars bring about the Almighy's plans"
And the result was the Balfour Declaration !
And the early beginning of the State of Israel.
So who knows?
And Now - Thank you Stuie for the following (slightly edited by me)
“Rising up to paradise, I know I'm gonna shine”
Reb Shlomo Carlebach
on Parshat Ki Teitzie
Where
the Portion (parsha) says "
"when you (singular) go out to battle your enemies."
it writes it in singular.
So let me ask you friends, how can one Jew go out and conquer the world?
It's crazy.
I want you to know, there are two struggles going on in our lifetime.
One struggle is going on mamesh inside, deep inside.
The struggle is when I don't even know if I want to be a Jew, I don't know if I should keep Shabbos.
...
These( and more)re all real inside struggles.
But then there is something else. It's when my inside is already fixed.
It's mamesh clear to me in two million ways that I cannot move an inch away from the Torah... I just can't, even if I wanted to.
...
What's the first sign if I make a covenant with G-d? - that there are certain things inside
that I don't have to struggle about anymore. I'm a Yid.
Inside, inside, I don't have to struggle anymore.
Sure, it's hard.
But you know something, I have choice when I am sitting by my Shabbos table.
I can sit there and eat a meal, or I can mamesh keep Shabbos (with joy) in the deepest depths.
(It says VA YEE NAH FASH.
How do most translations look?)
)
G-d created the world in six days and on Shabbos He rested.
What a sad translation!
On Shabbos G-d gave the world a soul. (NEFESH)
On Shabbos G-d created a world of souls, of depth, of tasting that which is most real.
Shabbos invites all those who need new energy...
...
Isn’t G-d infinite? Isn’t life infinite?
Shabbos is the name of G-d.
Will you accept the invitation of Shabbos?
Won’t you come and taste a little bit of paradise?
Good Shabbos!
RAV SHLOMO
And I add
Our people gave Gaza freedom and for 20 years
They ALL DUG TUNNELS
paid for by EuroDollars and OilMoney.
While we conquer the world's of Health
And of Science
Win Nobel Prizes
And integrate Ethiopians and Ukraine immigrants.
Long live the plans of the Almighty
And may we change the crazy false news
In the world.
